Hodgson & White bring their Wisconsin Cheese-Capades to this year’s Freezing Man Festival at Joey’s Song! Joel Hodgson (creator, Mystery Science Theater 3000) and Wayne White (Pee-Wee’s Playhouse, Smashing Pumpkins’ “Tonight Tonight” video, and subject of the award-winning documentary “Beauty is Embarrassing”) bring their unique form of comedy, music and visual surprises to the High Noon Saloon on Friday, January 10th at 8 pm.

Backing up Hodgson and White is their Wisconsin show band “Packer Country”, with the featured act for the evening being Dr. Z (Dana Gould), from YouTube’s popular talk show “Hanging with Dr. Z”, featuring loungy music, comedy, and musings on his epic showbiz career – as an ape.

Hodgson & White’s Cheese-Capades will be hosting several unique and outrageous live auctions throughout the evening to benefit Joey’s Song, including Wisconsin-luminary and internet sensation Charlie Berens, who will be checking in via-phone as we auction his beer can collection live.

Just added: Yvonne Freese, aka MegaSynthia and GPC2 from MST3K’s Season 13 and live shows, who has the unique distinction of being crowned Princess Kaye of the Milky Way Court at 2009’s Minnesota State Fair – and immortalized by having her image sculpted in butter – will be joining us in the mayhem. Expect some special celebrity guests dropping by from Joey’s Song for a hilarious cheese-capades trainwreck of a closing number!
