Feed The Resistance: Cowgirl Caviar!

On my recent vacation I celebrated the 4th of July with a bunch of friends in Charlottesville, Virginia.  Our friends Melissa and David hosted the big party on the 4th – the only day of rain that they’ve seen in months!  One of the dishes that Melissa served at the party was “Cowgirl Caviar” – and EVERYBODY LOVED IT!  So, of course, when we got home from vacation, I immediately set out to find a recipe for Cowgirl Caviar…and I found one…and it’s also delicious!  To pair with the Cowgirl Caviar – Dee grabbed a Ruby Red Commuter from One Barrel…and as usual…NAILED IT!  This was the perfect pairing for a hot summer day!
