Feed The Resistance: It’s Chili Time!

With the weather starting to turn a bit colder for us the last few days (even seeing some SNOW) – I figured it’s chili time once again!  With that in mind, we invited Kaitlyn and Angie to join us from the Wisconsin Beef Council!  The Beef Council has tons of recipes on their website, including a bunch of chili recipes.  After spending a whole bunch of time looking through all the different variations on Chili, I decided to make Beef Chili Carnivale, which they describe as “a carnival of flavors including jalapeño, garlic, black beans and colorful peppers”…plus, of course there’s some good ground beef in there too!

Angie also brought in a chili for us to try – hers is a bit non-traditional…Chipotle Beef, Butternut and Pumpkin Chili.

To pair with the chilis – Dee served up Oberon Eclipse Citrus Wheat from Bells.  A great tasting wheat beer, perfect for fall and perfect to go with a good hearty fall chili!
