Feed The Resistance: Juneteenth…and…Fathers’ Day!
When I saw that Juneteenth was this weekend, I went looking for an appropriate recipe to share. The first place I looked was in the “Off Duty” cookbook from Marcus Samuelsson. I didn’t find a recipe for Juneteenth, but in the chapter called “Special Days” – I found a recipe that he recommends for Fathers’ Day. The recipe is called “Dreaming of Austria” and it’s basically Knackwurst with a bit of a kicked-up version of Sauerkraut and Mustard.
