Feed The Resistance: National Salad Month!
The month of May is National Salad Month! To celebrate that, today I made one of my favorite salads…Herbed Tuna and Israeli Couscous Salad with Cumin, Coriander and Citrus. Long name…GREAT SALAD! Basically, you toast Coriander and Cumin seeds in a dry skillet, then add that to some hot oil to make a dressing, and that gets added to the rest of the ingredients – Couscous, Tuna, Preserved Lemon, Orange and a few more herbs. Pop that in the fridge to cool it all off and then ENJOY!
Dee had a ton of ideas of what beer would go good with this salad, and settled on a Hazy IPA from Third Space called “Heavenly Haze.”
