Feed The Resistance: Oktoberfest!

Summer is quickly coming to an end…and that means OKTOBERFEST!  Leinie’s Octoberfest is the new Tap That Beer at The Resistance – so this week I wanted to cook up something for Oktoberfest!  I was looking for a recipe for either a Bratwurst or Sauerkraut soup – but nothing that I was finding sounded great to me.  So, I took a recipe that I’ve made several times in the past, and always enjoyed…and made adjustments.  The recipe is for White Bean and Sausage Soup.  The adjustment that I made was using Bratwurst instead of Italian Sausage.  In the future when I make this, I will be sure to use a stock, instead of water – but other than that, it turned out great…and paired great with the Leinie’s Oktoberfest!
