Feed The Resistance: Peaches!

When I went to the Brennan’s Market website the other day, the front page was a big image of peaches, with the words “It’s Chin Drippin’ Idaho Peach Season!”  So I had to head into Brennan’s and grab some peaches!  With those peaches, I made an amazing Peach Bourbon BBQ Sauce, that’s just a little spicy…and a little sweet!  The BBQ sauce is delicious when used for the pulled jackfruit sandwiches in the recipe, but would work really well with any BBQ meat as well, or another vegetarian dish – my wife and I made Crispy Tofu Steaks the other night, and served them with this sauce – and it was GREAT!

To pair with the Peach Bourbon BBQ – Kiernan grabbed the current Resistance “Tap That” beer – Modelo Oro, which worked perfectly…but than again, what beer wouldn’t work?  It’s BBQ & Beer!
