Feed The Resistance: ‘Tis The Season!

As we make our way towards the Holidays, this week I brought in my friend Jesse Matz, the chef at Mid Town Pub.  Jesse just published his first book, a children’s Christmas book called “The Christmas Game.”  To celebrate the release of the book, he’s doing a signing at Mid Town on Sunday afternoon, with a portion of the sale of each book going to The River Food Pantry!  Jesse supplied the food this week – making us Bacon-wrapped Prime Rib bites, with Ground Mustard and Horseradish sauce.  To pair with the Prime Rib bites, Dee served up a Holiday beer from Potosi, with did a nice job of mellowing out the horseradish just a bit…but still allowed all the flavors of those bites to really come through!
