Feed The Resistance: Star Wars Day!
Last Sunday was Star Wars Day (May the 4th), so in honor of that, I had to grab a recipe out of a Star Wars themed cookbook – “Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge – The Official Black Spire Outpost Cookbook!” I love tinned fish – in fact my wife and I have “Tinned Fish” night about once a week, where for dinner, we have several different types of tinned fish. Usually sardines are a part of that dinner. So, when I found a recipe for Sardine Fritters in the Star Wars cookbook – I knew that’s what I had to make! Unfortunately, the fritters didn’t turn out as good as they sounded – like I said, I love tinned fish, and sardines in particular, but this was just way to “Sardiney” (if that’s a word).
That said – Dee served up a wonderful beer, so that made it all better! From New Glarus Brewing Company – we enjoyed the “Tailwagger Amber.”
